Valentine's Day Blog Hop!

Good morning!

Today starts the Valentine's Day Blog Hop and you'll need to comment on this thread to be eligible to win.

I'm not much of one for Valentine's Day. My hubby doesn't do a lot and neither do I. It's just kind of another day. When you've got a new relationship you tend to do more, I think anyway. I guess you should never let that die, but life gets in the way and next thing you know, the day has come and gone.

Some days I wish my husband was more romantic. He does okay most of the time. We go out to dinner by ourselves usually once a week or so, but he's not the kind to bring me flowers for no reason or things like that. Too bad really. I love flowers.

So a question - What is the most romantic thing your significant other has done for you or you've had done for you in the past?

This was years ago and I was raising 5 kids at the time. I thought my husband and I were going to dinner, mom came over to babysit and we left. Instead he pulls into the parking lot of a beautiful hotel and I'm thinking they must have a nice restaurant inside.Long story short, we go up to a room and inside are candles, roses and a table set for dinner for 2. He had discussed it ahead of time with my mom and we didn't go home until the next morning. One of the best and most romantic evenings ever. Of course that was the last, had 2 more kids and it was cards only from then on. lol
Happy Valentine's Day Sandy.

I can immediately think of an answer. It was about 18 months after we got married. We were still in the honeymoon stage. We went out for a romantic Valentine meal, and later made love. Nothing out of the ordinary you might think. But our daughter was conceived that night.

I don't have a significant other, but I have a lot of friends & a great family. So mostly Valentines Day just passes by. Sometimes just to be cheery I buy fresh flowers.

One year when me and my hubby had little money to get each other anything, I printed up a bunch of 'Love' coupons for him to use whenever he wanted. Backrubs, a walk together, cook dinner, etc......Happy Valentines Day! Thank you for the blog hop giveaway! angadair@nwcable.net

I think, no matter how long you've been together, that making the effort to remember what you fell in love with each other for in the first place is essential to staying in love. Of course, ask me again when I've been married 25 years and I may give you a different answer! ;)

We have been married for 33 years, and Bill still loves for me to wear sexy underwear. A couple of times a year he takes me to Victoria's Secret and goes from shelf to shelf, gathering up what he likes, bras, panties and nighties. I am there to have input on size, try some things on, and nothing else. Not embarrassed at all, he buys what he likes best.

I love that!

My Husband isn't one for doing much on valentines day. But before we were married he planned a whole day out for us then suprised me with reservations at one of the nicest resturants in our small town. He even had them deliver the roses he got me to our table. It was a wonderful night. Hope you have a great valentines day.

I haven't really dated so, I don't have anything romantic but, I've always thought it's the little things that matter the most. Especially when they aren't expected. My parent's have that kind of relationship and they've been married for 37 years in August.

Happy Valentine's Day!

My husband always gets me the funniest cards for my birthday and then the sweetest cards for Valentine's Day, my birthday is on Valentine's Day! I always get a little something extra from the family, be it doing the dishes or them letting me pick a movie to watch. I am spoiled all day!

Thanks for the chance to win something and discover a new author!!
