Welcome to the 4th Anniversary of Secret Cravings Publishing Blog Hop!

I'm thrilled to be the owner and publisher of this great company, but I do have to say, we wouldn't be where we are today without our fantastic authors, and amazing staff. I'm humbled everyday to realize these people believe in us enough to let us publish their work.

As for me, yes, I do publish my own books with SCP. Why publish anywhere else?

For those who don't know me, I'm Sandy Sullivan and I write erotic contemporary westerns. If you want hot cowboys, I got 'em! I write erotic so be prepared to sweat with those love scenes because they are graphic and hot.

Visit my website at for all the latest on my releases, covers, newsletter and so on.

People ask me everyday where do I get my inspiration for my stories. I have to say I get story ideas from everywhere, just watching people is the best idea. Have you ever sat in an airport waiting for a flight and see two people across from each other texting on their phone, reading a book, or playing on their laptop. What happens if they were to look up and catch the other one looking at them? Would they smile, nod, and then go back to doing what they were doing? What if one of them got up and walked over to talk to the other? What if they realized they had a lot in common? What if they actually had lived mere blocks from each other at one time, or maybe they both knew someone specific?

See! A whole story just popped into my head of this good looking guy and this shy girl. Obviously, they are headed to the same destination. What if they sat together on the plane? What if they were staying at the same hotel? Maybe there could be a weekend rendezvous there. Maybe they might fall in love, get married, have 3 kids and live happily ever after. Maybe he's married, but in the middle of a nasty divorce. Maybe she just broke up with a long-time boyfriend and needs a man's arms around her.

So as you can see, inspiration comes from everywhere for me, but especially pictures of cowboys. I do love my cowboys and I have lots of pictures on my walls of men who depict my idea of the hero I'm writing at the time. I stare at them the whole time I'm writing. It's like they are talking to me, so when you hear that voice in your head as you read my books, yeah, that's them.

Anyway, that is a glimpse inside the head of a writer. Next time you get to meet your favorite writer, go all fangirl on them. They love it!

Enjoy the blog hop. I hope you find lots of great books and authors to check out.

As for my prize, I'll give away a $10 Amazon GC to one lucky commenter who leaves a c omment about who their favorite author is. Make sure to leave a comment with your email address so I can contact you.

Enjoy the hop.
